About The Position
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has opening for a Social Worker I (2 openings) for the Clinical Research and Occupational Medicine Division within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute, located in Piscataway, NJ. The Social Worker I functions with considerable autonomy in providing professional social work and case management services to World Trade Center (WTC) first responders and their families related to their health care and general well-being for a Federally contracted health program. Under supervision, provides supportive psychotherapeutic counseling and/or crisis intervention to patients and families.
