The Social Worker uses experience knowledge, judgment and skills to provide social services to patients and families in both complicated and uncomplicated situations. The Social Worker maintains patient confidentiality and promotes patient rights as supported by agency, state and federal directives. Identifies cultural diversity and lifestyle choices and non-judgmentally accommodates for such differences. Additionally they provide consultation to other hospice staff and volunteers while consistently demonstrating the Hospice Savannah values and compliance with organization’s service excellence standards.
