As a Social Worker at Elim, your responsibilities will include: Developing and fulfilling the requirements of the student’s Individual Education Program (IEP). Providing individual and/or group crisis counseling as needed. Participating in student IEP/Eligibility meetings with school districts, parents, state agencies and/or submit required reports. Consulting with the student’s teacher concerning their progress in social development and assist teachers upon request to promote carryover into the classroom, i.e. Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking and other curricular supports pertaining to social/emotional skills. Preparing a weekly schedule that fulfills the requirements of the students’ IEP. It's fulfilling work that makes an immediate difference in lives. To help our students, you will be provided training and instruction on behavior management, communication techniques and assistive technology. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 3:15 pm Includes a 6 week extended school year Wages : Competitive starting pay of $77,000 - $81,000 (Commensurate with experience and education) - 6 week ESY pay included in rate $2,500 sign on bonus after 30 days
