About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional clinical social work or marriage and family therapy services in support of the Family Advocacy Program (FAP).

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required.
• Males must be registered for Selective Service.
• Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work or marriage and family therapy independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
• Must have two years of experience working in the field of child abuse and domestic abuse as an independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in clinical case work, community outreach programs, family and children protection services, and family violence prevention theory and practice.
• Knowledge of the organization, management, and administration of child and family prevention and outreach services.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, maintains, implements, and evaluates clinical service for installation Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
• Responsible for case management activities occurring from initial referral and treatment, through case closure or transfer.
• Provides professional advisory services and training to other health care professionals, legal and investigative agencies, and other helping agencies, advancing initiatives that enhance resiliency and decreases maltreatment in military families, and communities.
• Conducts risk and clinical assessments.
• Provides crisis intervention.
