About The Position

South Beach Psychiatric Center is recruiting for Social Work Assistant 1 to provide case management and service coordination activities for individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As a Social Work Assistant 1 at South Beach Psychiatric Center, you will work with an interdisciplinary team and duties will include: Interviewing individuals and their families to gather background information, Preparing case histories and determining eligibility for services, Advocating and assisting individuals in identifying and obtaining services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a human service field and 1 year of social work experience
• Master's degree in social work can substitute for 1 year of specialized experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a state vehicle

Responsibilities
