The Infectious Disease Clinic provides a wide range of services for a variety of infectious diseases, including subspecialty programs for HIV, Transplant, and Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy patients. We identify and treat patients with infections associated with sexual activity, environmental and food exposures, travel medicine, surgery, and other sources. Our dedicated team of providers, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and other health care givers care for the whole patient and use resources from the community to assist with ensuring the patient has what they need to improve their health. As a Social Work Care Coordinator, the Clinical Social Worker is a fully integrated professional and core member of the primary care and research teams that work under the direction of the HIV and Infectious Disease faculty provider.
