About The Position

The successful applicant will teach face to face on the downtown campus at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels in the research content area, specifically research methods courses. The University is particularly interested in applicants who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree and two years of experience relevant to social work practice or MSW from a CSWE Accredited Program and two years relevant post MSW experience or Master’s degree in related field and two years relevant post Master’s experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s of Social Work ( MSW ) degree from a Council on Social Work Education ( CSWE ) – accredited institution.
  • Five years relevant post MSW experience
  • PhD or ABD
  • Doctoral level course work in one or more of content areas
  • Two years of teaching experience relevant to one or more of content areas
  • Previous experience in teaching in an online environment
  • Experience with diverse, historically underrepresented and/or first generation college students.
