About The Position
Helena Public Schools is seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher to join a team dedicated to fostering dynamic educational experiences for nearly 8,000 students across 15 campuses in Helena. This position is based on a 187-day contract, scheduled for 7 hours a day, and aims to prepare all students for life.
Requirements
- Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement
- At least a year of successful teaching experience in Social Studies at the high school level
- Meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff

Responsibilities
- Teach district approved curriculum
- Develop lesson plans and instructional material
- Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil
