About The Position

Troy Area School District is seeking a certified teacher for the 2026-2027 who will serve as a positive role model for students in all aspects of performance, demonstrating pride in the honorable profession of public education. Provide instruction in areas of certification and assignment using district approved curriculum and model. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects and communicate those objectives to students. Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies and administrative procedures. Communicate with parents and community to keep them informed about classroom events. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order to address individual student needs and progress.
