About The Position
The Social Studies Teacher at Lewiston High School is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults. The teacher will instruct assigned classes, plan programs of study tailored to individual student needs, and create a conducive learning environment. The role includes evaluating students' academic and social growth, maintaining records, and preparing progress reports. The teacher is also expected to be available for education-related purposes outside of instructional hours.
