About The Position
The Social Studies Teacher position at Proviso East High School is a full-time role for the anticipated school year 2025-2026. The teacher will be responsible for instructing high school students in various social studies subjects including Civics, Economics, Geography, and History. The position requires a valid Illinois Professional Educators License or an Educator License with Stipulations for grades 9-12. The teacher will report to the Building Principal and/or designee and is expected to engage in ongoing collaboration with colleagues, participate in curriculum review, and adhere to district policies.
