  • Comfortable appearing on camera and recording VO with clean audio.
  • Fluency in platform trends, meme culture, and trend discovery.
  • Pop-culture literacy across films/TV/comics/anime/gaming.
  • Clear, concise copy skills and attention to brand voice (captions, readability).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with native TikTok scheduling and/or social scheduling tools (TrueAnthem, Sprout Social).
  • Basic Photoshop/Illustrator graphic design skills.

  • Repurpose Screen Rant articles, exclusives, junket moments, and lists into social videos with clear hooks, on-screen text, and captions.
  • On-camera presence: Host quick explainers, breakdowns, and reaction clips.
  • Post from Screen Rant accounts, writing platform-optimized captions, selecting thumbnails/cover frames, and tagging/collabing for maximum reach.
  • Turn around fast clips during awards shows, trailer drops, and entertainment tentpoles (Oscars, Emmys, SDCC, etc.).
  • Keep social video projects organized in shared drives; respect music usage, crediting, rights, and fair-use boundaries.
  • Work with Social Media Manager on tracking performance and retention; discuss weekly insights and format tests that improve reach, engagement, and follower growth.
