About The Position

This position may be located in Oklahoma City, Tulsa or in surrounding areas Oklahoma. Social Services Specialist Annual Salary: Level I H20A: $36,811.95 + Full State Employee Benefits Level II H20B: $39,571.76 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. This position with the Escalate Issues Department within the ADvantage Waiver of the Medicaid Services Unit is hybrid in-person/telework position depending on the location of the applicant. The candidate will need to provide a high-speed internet connection (not a hot spot) to work remotely. If candidate cannot maintain connectivity they will be required to work from an OKDHS office. This position will offer support for the Escalated Issues department. It will require frequent reviews of member incidents. It requires the use of several state enterprise systems to coordinate communications. The ideal candidate will have existing familiarity with these systems and/or be a fast learner on systems of this type. This position will be analyzing supporting information and case documentation and/or case actions for the following (among other tasks) Provider Question Support (Harmony system) Escalated Issues Support - Determine Status of Escalated Issues pending (Harmony system) Research of active Critical Incidents and determine requirements needed for completion and/or assignments as needed. Research fraud, waste, and abuse (AVA System) Make and take Member phone calls on a limited basis Maintain a high level of customer service •Maintain a high level of professional communication within the EI department while using MS Teams NECESSARY CONNECTIVITY Must be able to frequently lift up to 15 lbs for transporting computer. Must have stable and reliable home internet (high-speed and not a hot spot) for telework or will be required to work in office.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
  • A Master's degree; OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in professional social work; OR an equivalent combination of education and social work, substituting one year of professional social work for each year of the required education.
  • The candidate will need to provide a high-speed internet connection (not a hot spot) to work remotely. If candidate cannot maintain connectivity they will be required to work from an OKDHS office.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 15 lbs for transporting computer.
  • Must have stable and reliable home internet (high-speed and not a hot spot) for telework or will be required to work in office.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference may be given to applicants with previous experience with ADvantage Program and/or the Harmony system.
