About The Position

The Social Services Director at Robin Run Village is responsible for leading the social services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to clients in a long-term care setting. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating social service activities while overseeing a team of social workers and support staff. The director will also develop programs that meet client needs and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Social Services Designee Certificate OR Licensed Social Worker
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in social services in a long term care setting
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social service programs to meet the needs of our clients
  • Provide leadership and guidance to social workers and other support staff
  • Ensure that social service programs are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and government agencies
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Provide training and support to staff as needed
