About The Position

Altamaha Health Center has an opportunity for an experienced Social Services Director . Social Services Director must attend this class offered via the GHCA after they are hired. They also must possess at least 1 year of SW experience to be considered for the position. In this position you will assist in the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation of the overall operation of our Facility's Social Services department. You will ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator. This is all to assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis. Position Qualifications: must possess at least 1 year of SW experience to be considered for the position. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite Package (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge

Responsibilities
