Requirements

• Knowledge of child welfare systems, Section 8 housing programs, Medicare policies, and workforce development initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor clients effectively while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations involving child welfare or mental health concerns with discretion.
• Familiarity with community resource navigation to assist clients in accessing necessary services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with community resources such as Section 8 housing, Medicare programs, child welfare services, and workforce development initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor staff or volunteers involved in service delivery, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies.
• Assist clients with navigating complex systems related to healthcare, housing, and social benefits.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports in compliance with agency standards.
• Participate in ongoing training related to social work practices, motivational interviewing techniques, and child welfare protocols.
• Support families with childcare needs and provide guidance on community resources for parenting or family stability.
