About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Assistant to join their team at Saint Paul's Senior Living Community. In this role, the assistant will support the Social Service Coordinator and Social Workers in providing medically related social services to residents. The primary goal is to help each resident achieve or maintain the highest practicable level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The position also involves promoting a climate, policies, and routines that foster residents' individuality, independence, and dignity.

Requirements

A fire and passion for working with seniors
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Minimum of one year of experience of supervised social service experience in a health care setting working primarily with the geriatric population required
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

Social Service Certificate, or 36-Hour Social Service Designee Certificate, preferred
Minimum of two years of prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
