About The Position

The Social Services Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting social workers in their daily tasks, assessing client needs, and collaborating on treatment plans. This position is essential in ensuring that clients receive the appropriate care and support they require in a skilled nursing environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education or work experience in a social service or health-related field is a plus (such as social services, social work, patient registration, care coordination, or discharge planning).
• Must be familiar with Medical Terminology.
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computer (Windows, Internet, and Applications/Programs navigation).

Responsibilities

• Assisting social workers with their daily tasks.
• Assessing clients and determining the type of help they need.
• Working with social workers to determine treatment plans.
