About The Position

This position is for a Federal role located in Davis, CA or Hemet, CA. To qualify, candidates must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties of the position. This includes both paid and unpaid experience, such as volunteer work through National Service programs like the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps. Candidates will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part-time work. It is essential to clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held, along with the total number of hours worked per week.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
• Current, unrestricted U.S. State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW), or equivalent advanced practice licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of professional adolescent clinical mental health services of complex technical difficulty.
• Conduct evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, counseling, referral, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders to patients and families.
