About the position

Tetra Tech is seeking a Social Scientist to join our Madison, WI office, focusing on supporting process evaluations of clean energy programs through qualitative and quantitative analysis. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, conducting research, and delivering accurate results and recommendations based on data analysis. Responsibilities

• Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams
• Provide input and participate in project meetings
• Conduct research tasks in support of a broad portfolio of study types
• Maintain study documentation
• Review own work for overall accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
• Deliver accurate results and useful recommendations based on the analysis of data
• Present results via written reports, oral presentations, and reporting dashboards
• Work towards proficiency in the use of modern analytical tools (e.g., Python, PowerBI, Excel)
• Embrace continuous learning

Requirements

• MS/BS degree in social science discipline with some research experience
• Two or more years of experience working with data
• Understanding of data collection methods
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Direct program evaluation experience a plus
• Direct energy sector experience a plus
