About The Position

The University of Wisconsin–Parkside’s Social Sciences and Professional Studies Departments invite applications for temporary/part-time adjunct instructors to teach on an as-needed basis. This is an open pool requisition. Qualified applicants may be selected from the pool to fill instructional needs as they arise. Hiring decisions are made based on departmental needs, course availability, and candidate qualifications

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in the subject area OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject area OR Master’s degree in another field and relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Adjunct instructors may be assigned teaching responsibilities in one or more of the following areas, depending on departmental needs: Criminal Justice Geography and Anthropology History International Studies Politics, Philosophy, and Law Sociology Teacher Education PACC (Parkside Access to College Credit Program) Smart City Policy and Civic Partnerships Master's in Applied Professional Studies
