About The Position
Working under moderate supervision, the Social Sciences Research Assistant 1 will coordinate the research activities of the Play-based Remote Enrichment To ENhance Development (PRETEND) intervention in Prader-Willi Syndrome to build out our programs for wider dissemination. The social sciences research assistant will assist in the establishment of play facilitator training procedures, including confirming intervention fidelity, and piloting the train-the-trainer protocol with a small sample of volunteers. In addition, the research assistant will assist in the development of an online resource platform for the PRETEND protocol. This position will work directly with clinical psychology doctoral graduate students at Case Western Reserve University, principal investigator of the PRETEND studies, and the Neurodevelopment Research Lab (NRL).
