About The Position

The Social Science Research Analyst position at the U.S. Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice (NIJ) involves developing, implementing, analyzing, and disseminating social science research and evaluation projects. Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Degree in behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in a related field.
• Ability to plan, conduct, and evaluate social or behavioral science studies.
• Knowledge of social or behavioral science as applied to crime and justice issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in conducting or overseeing research in corrections, policing, courts, and/or the criminal justice system.
