Full Sail University, the leader in education for the Entertainment, Media and Technology industries, is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Video Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form video content for our TikTok, Instagram, and other short-form video platforms, including both organic and advertising content. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for storytelling and a knack for capturing attention through video, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of video capturing and editing or social media content experience.
• Proficient with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as well as lighting equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable software application.
• Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of current social media trends, specifically on TikTok and Instagram.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, capture, and edit short-form video content for channels such as TikTok and Instagram, including organic and advertising content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling stories that resonate with our target audience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform features to ensure our content remains fresh and engaging.
• Manage video projects from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing.
• Ensure that all content adheres to the Full Sail University brand guidelines and meets quality standards.
• Work alongside the social media and marketing teams to performance metrics and adjust content strategies as needed to optimize engagement and reach.
