Position Overview The Social Media Specialist supports the execution of doTERRA’s social media strategy by planning, creating and publishing content across social platforms. This role manages day-to-day social media activities, including content scheduling, content development, and community engagement. A key focus of this role is developing engaging educational content that is clear, relevant, and easy to understand while delivering value-driven messaging to dōTERRA’s audience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and LinkedIn with a strong grasp of platform best practices.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to use data to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns in alignment with business objectives across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Youtube and LinkedIn.
  • Plan and manage content calendar and posting schedules across platforms.
  • Create and share engaging content (short form videos, graphics, imagery) tailored to each platform.
  • Monitor and manage engagement across dōTERRA’s social channels to foster a strong and positive community.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging and business priorities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates and audience behaviors to inform content development.
  • Track and analyze performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
