The Social Media Specialist supports and elevates M.S. Rau’s digital presence across social media and online platforms. In this role, you will help bring our brand to life through compelling content, dynamic storytelling, and strong community engagement. You will support the creation of social-first video, publish content across multiple channels, maintain accuracy on key online platforms, and provide insights that drive digital performance.   • Film, edit, and produce high-quality short-form video for social platforms
  • Assist in copywriting, script support, and fact-checking in alignment with brand standards
  • Maintain organized asset libraries to ensure efficient content workflows
  • Collaborate with photography, research, and design teams to develop on-brand content
  • Support the execution of the social strategy and content calendar
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
  • Monitor trends and platform innovations to inform content development
  • Engage with audiences daily — build community and uphold a polished, professional brand voice
  • Create trackable performance links and optimize content for reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Design engaging Pinterest content and support blog distribution
  • Track weekly performance and provide insights that fuel optimization
  • Improve YouTube discoverability through SEO updates and content tagging
  • Maintain and update key business listings (Google Business, Yelp, TripAdvisor), responding to reviews when needed
  • Support paid social coordination and provide recommendations to enhance campaign performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience managing organic social media
  • Proficiency with social scheduling and video/photo editing tools (e.g., Sprout Social, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Canva)
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging social media platforms
  • Excellent writing and communication; strong brand storytelling instincts
  • Video editing and creative production skills
  • Analytical mindset with passion for testing and learning
  • Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented, accountable, and reliable
  • Experience producing short-form video content (particularly Reels/TikTok)
  • Certifications or platform-specific badges a plus
