About The Position

The Social Media Producer at E.W. Scripps Company & Court TV is responsible for creating and managing video, graphics, and written content across all social media channels. This role involves overseeing the editorial process and developing a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at enhancing brand awareness and increasing network viewership.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of social media networks
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (graphics, video and copy)
• Knowledge of all social media networks
• Understanding of social media analytics
• Knowledge of social media advertising processes
• Ability to produce and edit video content

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee social media content for network social platforms.
• Manage the editorial process for all network social platforms.
• Create original video and graphic content for all platforms that aligns with the network's brand.
• Monitor broadcasts and identify content for social platforms.
• Collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams on the development of social-specific content.
• Work with social and digital teams to develop and refine workflow and posting strategy.
• Develop and implement social media strategy for all platforms to increase brand awareness.
• Monitor user engagement and other KPI's to optimize content strategy.
