About The Position

A1 Door is a locally trusted garage door company specializing in sales, installation, and repair. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media / Marketing Intern to help grow our online presence and support marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Interest in social media and digital marketing
• Familiar with social media platforms and tools (Canva, Meta, TikTok)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Comfortable creating simple content (posts, captions, short videos)
• Familiarity with tools like Canva or similar design platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Create and schedule posts, captions, and short-form videos
• Help promote services, specials, and brand awareness
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages
• Assist with basic marketing tasks such as email campaigns and website updates
• Track social media performance and engagement
