About The Position

As the Social Media Manager - Sports Sponsorships, you'll lead the charge in finding innovative, social-first ways to spotlight the unique perks T-Mobile offers through our sponsorships of Major League Baseball, Formula 1, and more. This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in-office) with frequent travel for on-site productions—where we often concept, capture, edit, and publish all in the same day. You'll collaborate closely with the Sponsorships social team, the broader social org, and key internal and external partners, including Media, PR, Creator, and our agency teams.

Requirements

  • 4-7+ years of experience managing social media campaigns in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on social production experience, especially with real-time productions and high-profile talent.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or GED (Required).
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sports lead with the day-to-day social execution of T-Mobile's sports sponsorships, including baseball, Formula 1, golf, football, player deals, and more.
  • Support the sports lead in overseeing social content productions—providing creative direction and real-time feedback during capture, editing, and publishing during live events.
  • Support the sports lead as the primary point of contact for our agencies, ensuring they feel like an extension of our team so they can do their best work.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agency and external partners, and talent to develop strategies, plan, and implement coordinated campaigns of varying scope and scale.
  • Ensure content ladders up to overarching social and brand strategies, and reinforces our value prop to members.
  • Track performance, analyze results, and share insights to optimize future content and campaign strategy.
  • Support budget management, vendor coordination, and timelines for content and campaign deliverables.
  • Contribute to team brainstorms and creative ideation, helping evolve how we show up in the sports space.
