We already have an awesome TikTok & Instagram presence among AP students with our page @getknowt & we’re looking for a creative, social media manager to recreate that magic by building Knowt’s IB-focused social media presence from scratch on TikTok and Instagram. This role will play a key part in introducing Knowt to IB students worldwide and driving them to the platform in a way that feels authentic, relatable, and student-first. This role is ideal for recent grads (within 3–4 years) who completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and deeply understand IB student culture. (No visa sponsorship available.)

  • Create concepts and execute videos for Knowt IB brand channels on Tiktok, Reels, and Shorts
  • Develop social content, including video series end-to-end: concept, treatments, scripting, shoots, editing, and post.
  • Ideate on real-time trending topic opportunities that connect to IB students
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and other teams in Knowt to promote projects, categories, community members, and more relevant to IB students
  • Leverage AI tools (LLMs, agents, and emerging applications) to enhance community content, streamline processes, and ensure programs scale effectively while staying safe, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Engage authentically with our community via comments, DMs, and mentions
  • Analyze performance metrics and iterate on content strategy
  • 1-2 years experience in social media marketing
  • Hands-on video production skills (editing, scripting, social formats).
  • Completed a minimum of three IB courses
  • Strong grasp of TikTok & Instagram trends, formats, and culture
  • Creative, trend-aware mindset with strong storytelling skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows, content creation, and community engagement; able to identify where AI can add value without compromising quality
  • Completed the IB Diploma Programme and genuinely understand the IB experience
  • Are excited to build a social media presence from zero, defining the voice, content pillars, and creative direction for IB students.
  • Live for short-form content and know what works on TikTok & Instagram.
  • Think independently and aren’t afraid to experiment, test, and ship ideas without needing step-by-step direction.
  • Have out-of-the-box ideas that push boundaries and probably wouldn’t get approved at more traditional companies.
