About The Position

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating & posting social media content for Denver Broncos social media channels as directed by the digital media staff. This position will contribute to: creation/management of social media content, including but not limited to posting content to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & Snapchat, capturing photo & video content, editing videos & graphics and tracking performance of social media content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or similar discipline
• Minimum of two years' experience as a student working for a college newspaper, television or radio station, website, college sports information, office or in a communications department of a sports organization or in the sports industry

• Graphic design & motion graphic knowledge (Photoshop/After Effects)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the creation and publishing of social media posts
• Editing short-form video content for use across Broncos channels
• Capturing video and photo content for use across Broncos channels
• Helping cover team and organizational events
• Contributing to daily content planning and executing content assignments as directed
• Tagging of content in social media analytics platform
• Reporting of consumption and engagement trends
• Performing other duties as assigned
