What does a Social Media Intern do? As a Social Media Intern at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, you will engage in a variety of daily tasks essential to our mission. Your responsibilities will include creating compelling content for our social media platforms, assisting in the development of marketing campaigns, and scheduling posts to maximize audience engagement. You will monitor social media channels for interactions and insights, responding to comments and messages as needed to foster a customer-centric community. In addition, you'll collaborate with team members on brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that align with our organizational goals. Regularly analyzing social media metrics will be part of your routine to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations. Attend team meetings to discuss upcoming initiatives and contribute your fresh perspective, ensuring a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
