About The Position
The Social Media Intern position at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is a part-time role based in Denver, Colorado, specifically within the KSE Digital department for the Denver Nuggets. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about sports and social media, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the creation and management of multimedia content across various digital platforms. The intern will be responsible for ideating, capturing, creating, publishing, and tracking social media content that promotes the Denver Nuggets and engages with the community. This role requires a creative mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with the social media team to enhance the online presence of the Nuggets through platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Threads, and YouTube. The intern will play a key role in contributing to the Nuggets' ancillary social media accounts, including Altitude Authentics, Kroenke Sports Charities, Denver Nuggets Dancers, and Rocky. Responsibilities will also include covering and promoting team and community events, marketing initiatives, and fan interactions. The intern will assist in organizing, tagging, and distributing photos throughout the season, as well as analyzing the performance of published content to ensure effective engagement with the audience. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in social media management and content creation within a dynamic sports environment.
