We're looking for a social-first content creator who lives and breathes the creator economy to join our team at Later. Reporting to the Director, Social Media & Influencer, you'll be a driving force behind Later's social presence across all platforms. This role is a unique opportunity to build on our existing community of marketers and creators, analyze what makes great creators, brands, and their collaborations tick, and position Later as the ultimate authority in the creator and influencer space. This role is perfect for someone who wants to be at the forefront of creator economy conversations while helping shape how one of the leading social media platforms shows up online. You'll have the opportunity to create content that millions of creators and brands engage with, analyze what makes the most successful creator collaborations work, and build Later into the definitive voice in this space.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years creating social content professionally across multiple platforms.
  • Comfortable and authentic on camera.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft sharp short-form copy.
  • Basic photo and video editing abilities.
  • Experience with social media management tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Figma.
  • Understanding of the creator economy and successful collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scroll-stopping social content primarily across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, along with Threads, Pinterest, Facebook, and X.
  • Script, produce, and star in short-form video content that breaks down trends, analyzes successful brand collaborations, and provides actionable insights.
  • Transform Later's brand voice into distinct platform-specific content.
  • Craft visuals that stand out in crowded feeds.
  • Interact with our community in a way that feels authentic and builds genuine connections.
  • Cultivate relationships with creators, brands, and industry leaders through strategic engagement.
  • Identify and execute collaboration opportunities that extend Later's reach.
  • Track community sentiment and spot emerging conversations.
  • Translate knowledge of creator trends into actionable content opportunities.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of successful campaigns and viral moments.
  • Identify emerging formats and approaches before they hit mainstream.
  • Track and interpret key performance metrics to refine our approach.
  • Identify content patterns that drive measurable growth and engagement.
  • Contribute strategic insights based on platform algorithm changes.
  • Help design A/B tests that elevate our content strategy.
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams to amplify Later's social presence.
  • Share social media and creator economy insights with the wider organization.
