About The Position

The Social Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of Social Media Marketing to drive organizational goals. This role plays a key part in driving the overall social media & content strategy content across organic Lash social media channels, ensuring effective strategy execution, cross-functional collaboration, and measurable impact. This includes overseeing a monthly content calendar, social support plans for launches/activations, identifying social trends, reporting on insights & owning community management. This role will work cross-functionally with the KISS Lash Brand Marketing Teams and report directly to the Senior Manager of Social Marketing. The ideal candidate is beauty-obsessed (preferably with lashes) with a team player attitude, is a multi-tasker that will reach deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent communication & writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, write and schedule social content for lash brand organic social channels - including support for new launches & promotions.
  • Create assets or collaborate with designers/agencies to bring campaigns and social strategy to life.
  • Regularly identify social media trends & strategize opportunities for the brand to engage and grow across all platforms
  • Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with the development and evaluation of strategic marketing plans
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functioning teams for ongoing social support for retailers and ecommerce website
  • Partner closely with UGC Agencies for content planning and creation of assets to support social holidays, new launches, etc.
  • Oversee community management across all social platforms (with flexibility on monitoring during big events).
  • Conceptualize, brief and manage inhouse video’s and photoshoots
  • Build the brand community through strategic and tactical actions- (insta takeovers, giveaways, building influencer relationships, responding to product-related questions and concerns, customer-related inquiries, etc.)
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging digital and social technology trends to ensure the brand is always on the cutting edge of all changes in the social space.
  • Reports on competitive brand activities and leading brands creating dynamic consumer engagement that are worthy of evaluation and monitoring.
  • Monitor and report monthly and quarterly on product feedback, brand sentiment, competitive, KPIs and other performance metrics or goals.
