About The Position
The Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) Specialist for Elementary Schools at Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Social & Emotional Learning (MTSS-SEL). This role aims to foster a positive school climate, integrate SEL into core instruction, and support the development of social and emotional skills among students. The specialist will work closely with school leaders and teams to provide coaching, professional learning, and technical assistance, ensuring that schools can effectively address the social, emotional, and academic needs of their students.
