About The Position
The Social Emotional Learning Education Specialist at the Oregon Department of Education is responsible for supporting schools and districts in implementing Oregon's Transformative SEL Framework and Standards. This permanent, full-time position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mental and Behavioral Health Education across the state. The role includes developing resources, providing technical assistance, and managing the implementation of educational standards related to SEL.
