We employ more than 1,900 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Toronto, Guadalajara, Dallas, and Paris. While PSA is built on authentication and grading services, the company has grown well beyond to serve the complete collecting experience. A two-year surge of infrastructure and innovation is recognized by two recent milestones: one million trading cards consigned on eBay, and one million collectibles secured in the PSA Vault. We are seeking a Social Content Strategist who sees these benchmarks as starting points. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Social Media & Communications, the Content Strategist will be an integral force in furthering our online presence, growing marketplace-focused channels, crafting data-driven messaging, and collaborating with multiple departments to position PSA’s unique buy-and-sell offerings. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Social Media and Communications and work from our Santa Ana office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.

Requirements

• Obsessed with the transactional nature of collecting cards and collectibles.
• Passionate about social media with 5+ years experience in content creation.
• Knowledgeable about online marketplaces, auction houses, and collector economies.
• Capable of creatively adapting marketplace data into storytelling moments.
• Quick to analyze and distill historic sales and hobby trends.
• Versed in adapting brand tone and voice for external communications.
• Collaborative by nature, comfortable working across teams and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of PSA marketplace channels across the social media landscape.
• Develop a strategic content plan that underscores PSA liquidity propositions: PSA Offers and PSA Consignment (eBay).
• Write and format engaging posts that leverage real-time transactions, trends, insights, and collector stories.
• Lead storytelling-driven video content with a team of videographers, editors, motion designers, and production coordinators.
• Collaborate, execute, and report on special auction events with stakeholders and project drivers.
• Identify and manage influencer opportunities that expand our reach, both inside the collecting sphere and out.
• Foster a sense of community with reactive on-brand engagement.
• Work hand-in-hand with designers and key stakeholders to align efforts with overall goals.
• Conduct social listening and sentiment analysis to surface collector conversations, competitor activity, and marketplace trends.
• Translate findings into content opportunities and strategies.
