About The Position

Humann is hiring, and we’re looking for a Social Content Strategist & Creator to make social content people actually want to watch, save, and share. This role is intentionally creator-heavy. Roughly 80% of your time will be spent on content strategy, hands-on creation, and post-production—coming up with ideas, shooting, editing, and refining content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. The remaining 20% of the role focuses on social publishing, engagement, and community management once content is live.

Requirements

  • You’re a proven content creator with work to show—whether from your own channels, brand collaborations, freelance work, or in-house roles
  • You understand what performs on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and why
  • You’re comfortable shooting and editing your own content and moving fast when needed
  • You know how to grab attention quickly and tell a clear story in a short amount of time
  • You’re organized, self-directed, and comfortable juggling multiple creative ideas
  • You’re excited to create for a brand without losing your creator instincts
  • Demonstrated experience creating social content with strong engagement, growth, or performance
  • Experience may include: Personal creator or influencer channels Freelance or contract content creation In-house or agency content work
  • Portfolio Required

Responsibilities

  • Come up with original ideas and turn them into scroll-stopping social content
  • Shoot, edit, and deliver short-form and long-form video optimized for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Own content from idea → execution → final edit
  • Build a steady, strategic flow of content that balances evergreen brand storytelling, campaign moments, and timely trends
  • Experiment with formats, test hooks, and iterate quickly based on performance and cultural relevance
  • Collaborate with brand, creative, and campaign teams to bring bigger ideas to life through social
  • Support and participate in content shoots, including planning, on-camera work (if applicable), and on-site capture
  • Publish and optimize content across social platforms
  • Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments and DMs in the brand voice
  • Engage with the community in a way that feels human, on-brand, and timely
  • Keep a pulse on what the audience is saying and surface insights to internal teams
  • Review performance at a high level and use insights to improve future content
  • Manage brand ambassador program
