About The Position

The Daily Wire is seeking a Social Content Producer, a hybrid creative strategist and content creator who will be responsible for both originating and reformatting brand content for distribution across social media platforms. This role requires a sharp instinct for brand-aligned storytelling, strong visual execution skills, and the ability to craft compelling short-form content that drives engagement and amplifies audience reach.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of social-first content creation experience or equivalent portfolio-based proof of performance
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
  • Strong understanding of and instinct for the 'voice' of the Daily Wire brand and its talent
  • Immersion in and full understanding of social media platform operations, including; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat
  • Strong instincts for successful social media platform audiences and content
  • Ability to spot and capitalize on social media trends
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent proof-reading skills
  • Impeccable grammar and spelling
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • G-suite proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Produce short-form video content tailored to platform-specific formats, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
  • Develop 15–90-second videos that match native aesthetics and engagement trends, incorporating subtitles, motion graphics, and on-screen text
  • Pull and edit impactful moments from long-form content (e.g., podcasts, interviews, debates) to create compelling social-first narratives
  • Repurpose existing content into high-performing, snackable social assets optimized for each platform’s user behavior and specs
  • Regularly audit show segments, trending topics, and live event footage to identify emotionally resonant, humorous, or controversial clips for social adaptation
  • Pitch new creative series and recurring content formats (e.g., 'Mic Drop Moments,' 'Fact Check Fridays') that reflect brand tone and audience interest
  • Collaborate with Platform Specialists to align on publishing cadence, content mix, and platform strategy
  • Respond to performance feedback by iterating on creative formats and visual approaches to improve reach and engagement
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics including reach, engagement rate, shares, watch time, and audience retention
  • Use platform analytics and third-party tools to generate actionable insights that inform ongoing creative strategy
