About The Position
Are you passionate about serving children and families in El Paso County? Do you love to help and support others? Do you have an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and also with dynamic teams? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a member of the Casework Assistance Team, you will join a team of Case Aides and Part-Time Caseworkers that support various areas of the agency, children, and families in child welfare. In this position, you will obtain caseworker certification to assist caseworkers and families to help children achieve permanency and help families have their needs met. This specific role is for assistance with Intake. In Intake, you will meet with families and assess safety and risk while engaging with children. You may also help with calling collateral contacts and assisting other workers on visits. This role is flexible and changes depending on which area needs assistance at the time of task assignment. This role provides much-welcomed support for child welfare staff and for the families we serve.
