Free Coaching Gear & All Equipment Provided Supportive, Fun Team Culture Make a Lasting Positive Impact on Children What You’ll Do Lead 30–50 minute high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2–8 Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment Teach soccer skills and character development using our curriculum Arrive 15 minutes early for setup, ready and prepared to coach Communicate positively with families, teachers, and staff Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and the unique Soccer Shots energy Schedule We operate year-round in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. Coaches may work 5–25 sessions/week, depending on availability. Typical Coaching Windows: Weekday Mornings: 8:30AM –11:30 AM Midday (site dependent): 11:30 AM–2:30 PM Weekday Afternoons: 2:30 PM–5:30 PM Weekends: Mornings , 8:30AM - 2PM You choose when you're available—we build your schedule around you. Locations (Long Island West Territory) Coaching takes place at: Preschools & daycares Parks & indoor facilities Community centers and elementary schools We assign sites as close as possible to your home within the Long Island West region. Ideal Candidates Are: Energetic, enthusiastic, and fun Patient, engaging, and great with kids Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable managing groups of up to 12 children Strong communicators Team-oriented with a positive attitude Soccer knowledge is a bonus, not required—we provide full training! Minimum Requirements At least 18 years old Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license Able to pass a criminal background check Authorized to work in the U.S. CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified Ability to coach indoors/outdoors, move actively, and manage class energy Our Mission Soccer Shots aims to positively impact every child through soccer by combining fun, skill development, and character-building lessons.
