Join our team as a Soccer Center Referee & Supervisor for the PG Spring Soccer League! This dynamic role combines leadership and on-field officiating to make a smooth game for everyone. You'll be responsible for set-up/clean-up, refereeing matches, running the game, and supporting both players and staff. First game of the season is April 18th. Season will end at the end of May. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all league games, including field setup, takedown, and cleanup. Serve as the Center Referee, managing game flow and enforcing rules. Communicate with coaches, players, assistant referees, and spectators. Provide hands-on training for Assistant Referees. Help manage staff schedules and timecards. Ensure a safe, positive environment for all participants. Schedule: Weeknights: Wednesday & Thursday 4:45 pm - 7:45 pm Saturdays: 8:45 am - 11:45 pm Total Hours: Less than 20 hours per week What We're Looking For: Age: 18 or older Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Solid knowledge of soccer rules and gameplay; has refereed before Physical Ability: Able to run, stand, and perform referee duties Skills: Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to work well with youth and adults in sport situations Deescalation Strong decision-making skills, even under pressure Organizational skills for staff scheduling and administrative tasks Physical Requirements: Moderate activity: walking, running, lifting (15-50 lbs.) Ability to work outdoors during mid-week evenings and Saturday mornings Why Join Us?
