Software Engineer (SOC - Security Operations Center)
About The Position
Bay Systems Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SOC Software Engineer to support the Lockheed Martin Orion Program, one of the most ambitious human spaceflight initiatives. In this hybrid role based in Denver, CO or Houston, TX, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the systems used in Lockheed Martin’s Security Operations Center, ensuring mission-critical software and network reliability, performance, and security. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team working on sophisticated software in a Linux-based environment, contributing to systems integration, emulation, troubleshooting, and secure software development lifecycles.
Requirements
- Extensive experience C++
- Experience in Python
- Extensive experience with different network protocols ( esp. RUC/RF)
- Extensive experience troubleshooting software
- Experience in multi-threaded application
- Experience with Linux development environment
- Experience with containers
- Experience with full development lifecycle
Nice To Haves
- Desired experience with emulator integration/troubleshooting
- Desired experience with QEMU
- Desired experience with Orion
