About The Position

The SOC Shift Supervisor contributes significantly to the intelligence-led approach to security, helping to prevent incidents through early detection, informed planning, and collaborative engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Be able to pass the medical and physical requirements outlined in the contract.
  • Meet all standards as required by the contract.
  • Have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
  • Must possess minimum of 4 years’ experience in security operations, with at least 1 years managing a Security Operations Center or equivalent control room.
  • Must possess background in military, law enforcement, or private security management.
  • Must possess strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
  • Must possess familiarity with incident command systems and crisis management frameworks.
  • Must possess knowledge of local security dynamics and cultural context.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the operational security environment on an ongoing basis, including political, social, cultural, and economic atmospherics that may influence base safety and security.
  • Collect and assess security intelligence from internal reports, local sources, open-source platforms, and field-based observations.
  • Identify and evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and early indicators of risk; escalate findings to the Risk Manager and Security Management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining risk assessments, contingency plans, and tailored mitigation strategies to address evolving threats.
  • Conduct security awareness briefings and informal threat updates to ensure personnel are informed of relevant developments and required precautions.
  • Track local events, unrest, demonstrations, or community activities that could pose a direct or indirect threat to operations or personnel.
  • Liaise with local authorities, community leaders, and other external stakeholders to enhance information-sharing and promote situational awareness.
  • Participate in security drills, crisis simulations, and emergency response planning exercises.
  • Maintain a database of risk-related incidents, environmental changes, and security alerts to support trend analysis and strategic planning.
  • Support post-incident investigations by providing environmental context, local insights, and trend analysis related to the event.
  • Uphold strict adherence to confidentiality protocols, operational guidelines, and organizational policies related to security intelligence and reporting.
