Our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) positions help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring security systems, coordinating emergency responses, and supporting on-site security teams. GSOC Operators serve as the central hub for communication and incident management, ensuring timely and effective responses to all situations. As an Onsite GSOC Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring security systems, dispatching personnel, and maintaining accurate incident documentation from our Waltham, MA Security Operations Center. This role requires prior security operations experience and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, professional command-center environment. You will play a critical role in supporting field officers and protecting people, property, and operations at client sites.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work onsite in Waltham, MA
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2–3+ years of security operations experience required (GSOC, SOC, dispatch, or command center experience strongly preferred)
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Proven ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in high-pressure situations
  • Strong observation, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with on-site and remote security teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to all safety protocols

Responsibilities

  • Surveillance & Monitoring: Operate CCTV, alarm monitoring platforms, and life safety systems to identify and respond to security events in real time
  • Access Control: Monitor and manage access control systems for secure locations
  • Emergency Dispatching: Coordinate responses to alarms, incidents, and emergencies using radio systems, phones, and dispatch software
  • Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with security officers, emergency responders, and client stakeholders
  • Incident Reporting: Accurately document all alarms, incidents, and communications in detailed dispatch logs and reports
  • Training & Development: Participate in a structured 40-hour training program covering systems, emergency procedures, and site-specific protocols
  • Customer Service: Deliver professional, courteous support to client personnel and visitors while maintaining a secure environment
