About The Position
The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, founded in 1975, is a National Cancer Institute ( NCI )-designated comprehensive cancer center. The Center’s mission is to reduce cancer occurrence and death in North Carolina and the nation through research, treatment, training, and outreach. The UNC Weight Research Program is hiring a temporary Research Specialist to support the development, operation, and evaluation of digital weight management trials being conducted by the study team. The Research Associate will develop intervention content including tailored messaging and instructional videos; manage data; create data reports; analyze research data; contribute to the development and management of REDCap projects; provide expertise and management of study Discord servers; and support other functions needed by the research team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with behavioral weight loss intervention development and data analysis, REDCap, Vyond, Canva, Discord, and statistical analysis software.
