Xavier University of Louisiana invites applications for summer part-time SOAR X Course Instructors. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. These are grant funded positions and continuation is dependent upon funding and/or need. In line with its commitment to prepare students for the future, Xavier University hosts a variety of summer opportunities for middle and high school aged students designed to enrich their academic and social development. Through these programs, students will enhance their preparation for high school academics and get a jump start on understanding college life. Students from across the country will pursue their passions in a rigorous, supportive academic setting. Xavier offers exciting curricula ranging from science and math to history and writing. Students have the unique opportunity to explore an area of interest on a deeper level through in-class discussions, laboratory experiences and cultural explorations. For 2025, all programs will be in-person on Xavier's campus. Candidates must be able to teach in-person on-campus for the duration of the program.
