SLAIT Consulting is seeking a Software Scripting Developer (PowerShell) for a contract position with our client in Chester, VA. The qualified candidate will perform technical duties in scripting and development for interconnects in REST APIs, API design and usage patterns, primarily using JAVA and Python. This scripting requirement is heavily based on a vCloud setting within VMware. The role involves solution construction, troubleshooting, planning, and implementation of internal calls and interfaces. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide solutions involving servers and applications, as well as an understanding of multiple operating server system environments. The position requires the candidate to design and implement scripting for enterprise environments, ensuring that they can obtain a Secret Clearance. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the client's IT infrastructure and will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong technical background in scripting and API development.
