Requirements

• Must have completed or be willing to enroll and complete the Sanitation and Safety and the School Nutrition Programs courses for Minnesota School Food Services Certification.
• Regular, on-time attendance is required.
• Ability to lift 31-50 lbs.
• Obtain Electric walk-behind pallet jack certification through the district as part of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• MN Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and verify food and supply deliveries against invoices or purchase orders.
• Organize and store food and supplies using an electric walk-behind pallet jack or carts.
• Coordinate and assist with outbound deliveries against load sheets.
• Complete daily food requisitions for all meal and snack programs.
• Prepare paperwork related to daily requisitions.
• Ensure proper food handling practices are followed, including product rotation.
• Perform frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling functions.
• Work in freezer/cooler and outdoor environments.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
